Social Anxiety Disorder

Social Anxiety Symptoms:

  • Intense anxiety or fear of being judged or negatively evaluated in social or performance situations
  • Worry about appearing anxious – blushing, stumbling over words
  • Blushing
  • Sweating
  • Trembling or shaking
  • Rapid Heartbeat
  • Upset stomach, nausea
  • Fear of places where escape might be difficult – crowds, bridge
  • Can also have panic attacks
